I remember when I first heard him on the radio back in the late 1980’s. My first reaction, honest to God, was something like “I don’t remember Bruce Williams being so political!”

(Remember Bruce Williams? I used to really enjoy listening to that show. Learned a lot about business from him. There’s some guy who is posting recordings of old shows on YouTube. Kind of cool stuff.)

I really enjoyed Rush back in the day. I think it’s hard for some to understand how utterly revealing it was to so many when suddenly there was a national voice that actually looked at the world in a recognizable way.

“You’re not the only one”, was more or less the message.

He was one of a kind. Showed a lot of courage over the last year. RIP.

I didn’t listen to the show often, and then only in 10 minute fragments. Was usually at work.

I suspect he was a guy who would do anything for you, regardless of who you were, if you needed help. My disgust with the negative comments flourishing right now among liberals makes me instinctively want to sympathize with him more than I would if they would just say nothing.
