He sounds convincing, as always, and I am sympathetic to any academic who has had to face down a politically correct mob, but what did FB do, or fail to do, exactly?  I see a pretty wide range of viewpoints on FB.

It goes like this:

Bret did the interview with Vanden Bossche, where they discussed (in very detailed, technical terms) VB’s theory that our global pandenic response may turn out to be spectacularly counter productive.

Other people then put out videos (some with high quality analysis, sone not) arguing against VB’s theory.

FB picked one of those counter arguments, and on the basis of it’s existence, deemed VB’s theory to be a hoax/debunked/lacking context/etc. As a result, if a FB user tries to share the original interview, it is hidden behind a message saying it is not scientific.
