Blessed Easter, gentlemen

Weird one here. Angie is pretty sick, I’ve been down for 36 hours, Lydia is iffy.

But this gives me cheer!

Hang in there, buddy.  I saw that guy somewhere else. He’s also the dude who got fined 1k CAD by the police for violating a Justin Trudea “proclamation” on covid gatherings by feeding the homeless with his church volunteer team, outdoors, as they always do each winter.

That really was BS.

Yeah, this really isn’t that bad. I’m going to go into the office after hours. I’ve cerrainly had seasonal flu that was worse. Lydia is about the same.

Angie seems to have the worst of it. Having two RNs for daughters is nice. They’ve been monitoring her, and so far no O2 problems or anything like that.

Lydia just reported “I’m actually feeling great. I don’t think I’m sick anymore”.

Did you eventually get a positive back on a test, or just Angie?

Lydia and Angie both have positive tests.

My negative test remains something of a mystery.

The good news as of this AM is I’m feeling 100x better.

Massive oversampling of the PCR test generally guarantees unreliable results. But I’m glad you’re all surviving well.

One interesting note on vaccine: K and I got our first shot a week ago (long story). The nurse that I was chatting up made a point to tell me, pointedly: “be sure to take a photo of that card and back it up. You will probably need proof that you’ve been vaccinated in the future…”

She was as serious as a Dick Cheney cardiac chart reading.

I’m guessing that some animals will soon be more equal than others when it comes to all public things like flying or museums.  Just a guess.

I do wonder how all this vaccine passport stuff survives HIPPA.

Feeling right as the mail here today. I’ve learned not to push too hard. Don’t have much endurance. But for the moment, not too bad.

Angie is still worse, but better.

My new theory is that this is all voodoo. Literally. It’s an exercise in the mass power of suggestion.
